In partnership with Interfaith Care Partners, Salem has developed this extensive ministry. The Second Family project reaches out to Salem families who are providing in-home care for ill, recuperating or disabled members. Services offered may include visits, transportation (to church, doctors, shopping, etc.), personal care assistance, respite or caregiver relief services and home-delivered meals. 

Lutherans have outstanding networks for global hunger assistance.

 Monthly envelopes for special contributions are provided in offering envelope packets.
