Our Lenten journey toward Easter begins on Ash Wednesday, March 1, at 7:30 p.m. with the traditional imposition of ashes.
Ashes are a rich symbol rooted in ancient customs and practices of biblical people. The Bible speaks of using ashes as a sign of penitence. Ashes also suggest judgment and humiliation; they also suggest cleansing and purification.
A Lenten Supper will be served in the Parish Hall beginning at 6:30 p.m.
