The Salem Keenagers (those age 50+) will depart from Salem on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 10:00 a.m. to travel by bus to Galveston to attend Oktoberfest on the grounds and adjacent streets of First Lutheran Church. The cost of the trip is $3.00 and a German Oktoberfest Dinner will be on your own on the grounds. Music, dancing and singing will be part of the day. Handcrafted Arts & Crafts and vendor booths will provide indoor shopping. For more information or to reserve a seat on the bus contact the Church Office.
