Sanctuary provides Christian community for Rice University and the University of Houston. (Sanctuary is formerly known as Houston Lutheran Campus Ministry.) Their mission is to invite curiosity and a life of generosity as you explore identifying God’s beloved.
Pastor Janelle Rozek Hooper leads Sanctuary which is a ministry of our Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod. Pastor Hooper will be back at Salem on Sunday, Oct. 21, for a special Sanctuary Forum which will be held at 9:15 a.m. Sanctuary has been included in Salem’s line item budget for some time as part of our benevolence ministry. Come and hear how we help play a part of this ministry and extend a warm Salem welcome to Pastor Hooper!
