Palm Sunday — April 14
8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. — A palm processional from outside into nave leading into worship.
9:45 a.m. — Palm Exchange at St. John’s Presbyterian Church with parade through the neighborhood
— The Three Days —
Maundy Thursday — April 18
7:00 p.m. — A community service commemorating the Last Supper when Jesus shared the Passover meal with his disciples on the night before he was crucified. The service will be at St. John’s Presbyterian Church (5020 W. Bellfort).
Good Friday — April 19
7:00 p.m. — A community service commemorating the passion and death on the cross of Jesus Christ. The service will be at Westbury United Methodist Church (5200 Willowbend).
Easter Vigil — April 20
7:00 p.m. — A community service at Salem with gathering in the courtyard for the lighting of the Paschal candle, followed by a procession into the sanctuary for readings and videos telling some of the great stories of the Bible. A champagne reception follows.
Easter Sunday Holy Communion — April 21
10:30 a.m. — Our grandest worship of the year! Brunch is served from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
