Salem has partnered with Zion, Celebration, and Kindred this year to sponsor an entry in the 2019 LGBT Pride Celebration. We will have a float in the parade as well as a booth at the festival.
When is the Pride Celebration? It is on Saturday, June 22. Plan to be at the float by 6:30 p.m.
How long is the route? Approximately 20 blocks.
What should I wear and bring? Comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a hat, your parade shirt, and bring two water bottles.
Where can I get a parade shirt and how much do they cost? Shirts will be available in between services on June 9 and 16. A donation of $10/shirt is suggested. You can also purchase a shirt on-site on the day of the parade.

Where do I go on the day of the parade? To be announced as we get closer to the date.
Where can I park? Meet at Zion Lutheran (3606 Beauchamp St., Houston, TX 77009) and carpool. There is limited parking downtown (visit Pridehouston.org/parking for specific information).
Will there be restrooms? Yes. Restrooms are located in the festival area and along the staging area for parade floats.
