After seven long months of work by the Call Committee and after meeting with Church Council on Jan. 22, the Call Committee and Council are unanimous in their recommendation of an outstanding candidate for Call to our ministry.
The next step in the process is to introduce the candidate to the congregation at an informal “Meet and Greet” gathering on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall. At that time the candidate will offer a devotion and introduce himself sharing his excitement for the future of Salem. The congregation will be free to ask appropriate questions about ministry, style and interests in this get-to-know time.
