We welcome Pastor Stephen Kelly as our Interim Pastor beginning July 1.
Pastor Kelly, also known as “PK,” received a B. S. in Education from the Eastern Illinois Dvorak School of Music, and a Master of Divinity from Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. Pastor Kelly served as pastor for four different congregations, before retiring from St. Martin’s Lutheran Church in Sugar Land in 2011. After retiring, Pastor Kelly has served as interim pastor, with Salem being his fourth interim congregation. Pastor Kelly’s interests includes education, music, teaching and spirituality.
In addition to regular pastoral duties, Pastor Kelly will serve to mentor the Call Committee.
