“What is Salem Serving Day?”
Salem Serving Day is a day that is set aside for every person in the congregation to participate in some form of service activity in and around the community. Salem Serving Day is set for Saturday, Oct. 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. and will include different projects to benefit organizations and people in and around our community.
Salem Serving Day Projects:
- Bicycle Collection for Freewheels
- WillowWaterhole
- Braes Interfaith Ministries
- Quilting Project
- Books Between Kids
Salem Serving Day Schedule:
- 9:00 a.m. – Brief Worship Service
- 9:15 a.m. – Depart for Projects
- 12:00 noon – Return to Salem for Lunch
