This year’s Salem Serving Day is collecting much needed items for Montrose Grace Place, Braes Interfaith Ministries, and Houston Cares Animal Rescue.
Grace Place strives to provide a safe, welcoming environment for vulnerable homeless youth of all sexualities and genders, providing nourishment, healthy relationships, and hope for the future.
Braes Interfaith Ministries provides physical, spiritual, and emotional assistance to persons in need within Southwest Houston.
Houston Cares Animal Rescue saves hundreds of animals from the streets of Houston each year by providing food, shelter, foster homes, and assistance with veterinary care.
The following items will be collected for these organizations. Please bring them with you to worship on Sunday, Oct. 25.
If you are unable to attend worship we will be having a community drop off on Salem’s circle drive (4930 W. Bellfort Ave., Houston, TX 77035) on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Tables will be set up so you can drive through and drop off your donations.

Houston Cares Animal Rescue
- Canned pet food (cat food needed)
- Dry pet food (cat food needed)
- Cat Litter
- New or gently used pet toys
- Metal Crates
- Litter boxes
- Litter scoops
