Souper Bowl of Caring – Feb. 2

It’s the Super Bowl — no, Souper Bowl — of Caring! While America turns their attention to the Big Game many of us are also transforming the Super Bowl weekend into the nation’s largest celebration of giving and serving through the Souper Bowl of Caring.

A special collection will be taken on Sunday, Feb. 2, look for the soup pots and give generously! 100% of the money and food collected will be given to Braes Interfaith Ministries, our neighborhood social ministry coalition. Money and food pantry items are welcome.

Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church is a welcoming community of faith in southwest Houston. We welcome everyone, regardless of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity. We love Jesus, and we believe Jesus invites us to be people who love, serve and give.

We are not perfect, but we are redeemed people who love, serve and give together in God’s grace.
