Stephen Ministry is a Christ-centered, confidential one-on-one active listening ministry serving adult individuals experiencing a crisis such as the loss of a loved one, significant relationship, job, health, etc. It was active here at Salem in the 1990s. Due to a renewed interest, it is returning to Salem this fall under the guidance of Pastor Marvin, with Anne Sasko and Lois Hamblin as Stephen Leaders.
A training class is scheduled to begin in mid-October for Salem members who are interested in becoming Stephen Ministers. More information will be provided during the worship services on Sunday, Sept. 8. Please feel free to contact the church office.
